Meet the Staff
NEW YORK CITY CAMPUS
Rosemarie Scilipoti serves as the Director of Undergraduate Advisement on the NYC Campus. After almost 10 years at Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons as the Director of Student Activities and Orientation, Ms. Scilipoti joined Pace University in 2018. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at the University of Buffalo and her Master's degree in Student Affairs Administration at Michigan State University. She began her career in higher education as a Residence Hall Director and then Academic Advisor at Stony Brook University, where she had the opportunity to work with cohorts of first year students, transfer students, and sophomores. Rosemarie's experience working across many different areas of higher education has allowed her to gain a broad perspective of the student college experience and become a resource to all students.
Academic Advisor (NYC)
Madeline McCarthy grew up in Westchester, NY and received a Dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Cultural Studies from Villanova University. Right after graduation she took a job in Shenzhen, China with a company that coordinates internships with Chinese companies for students from the US and UK. One of her key responsibilities was to help the students orient and acclimate themselves to their new international surroundings. When she came back to the US, she was hired by Pace's Study Abroad Office as an Education Abroad Advisor. She has extensive experience and great passion for helping students achieve their educational goals as well as acclimate to new and unfamiliar surroundings.
Maddie is currently pursuing a MBA in Strategy and International Business at Pace, and is very excited to join the Lubin team and help Pace students in a new capacity. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, reading, and learning new languages.
Academic Advisor (NYC)
Born and raised in northern New Jersey, Jeremy received his Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Education at Wheaton College in Norton, MA. Jeremy was a 4-year Varsity swimmer, active in clubs and organizations and, interned for the Dean of the First-Year Class while at Wheaton. He went on to teach Science outside of Albany, New York before he pursued his Master of Arts in Counseling: Higher Education and Student Affairs at the Montclair State University. He most recently served as an Academic Advisor at Caldwell University.
Jeremy joined the Pace community in the Spring 2020 semester as an Academic Advisor for the Lubin School of Business. He values the plight of all students as they establish their professional identities while also exploring their personal values and interests. Jeremy enjoys rooting for his favorite sports teams, exploring the greater NYC area, and making new memories.
Administrative Assistant (NYC)
Lily has worked for 25 years as Administrative Assistant in the Undergraduate Academic Advisement department at the Lubin School of Business. Lily obtained a History degree in her native country Guyana. She also earned a degree in Psychology with a minor in Literature from Pace University. She enjoys helping students and working with the entire Pace population; that is why, she finds her job very rewarding.
Staff Assistant (PLV)
Kathy Pisano has worked at Pace since 2011. She started working in Undergraduate Admissions and then joined the Lubin Undergraduate Advisement Team as a Staff Assistant in 2013. Kathy enjoys working and interacting with students, faculty and various colleagues on both Pleasantville and NYC campuses. Kathy is extremely committed with assisting students, families, and faculty on a daily basis. Kathy enjoys volunteering at events on campus; her favorite event is graduation.
She is married and has three children, a son-in-law, and a dog whom she adores. Two of her children are proud alumni of Pace University. She particularly loves travelling with her family and friends.
Academic Advisor (PLV)
Jenny Rolston is a recent addition to the Lubin Advisement team on the Pleasantville campus, but Jenny has been part of the Pace University professional community for almost 2 decades! Jenny began at Pace working as an Academic Advisor in the NYC CAP Program, before moving to the Lubin NYC Undergraduate Advisement Department as their Program Manager. She most recently worked as the Special Projects Coordinator for the Division for Student Success. Jenny is excited to be returning to Academic Advisement and for the chance to work with students again.
Jenny earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Boston College and her Master's Degree in School Counseling from Long Island University.
Jenny is from Long Island, is married, and when she isn't working she is busy raising two very active sons, ages 9 and 11.
